At the moment we have been needing to get rid of chairs from our environment because they have become projectile missiles. We opted for medicine balls and inflatable chair which are now in a deflated pile. We are in need of more reliable flexible seating and materials for our newly organized student led learning. With the help of donors our students with Autism will have the necessary supports for our classroom. The bean bags will take place of our inflatable bean bags which now have holes in them due to misplaced pencils. The balance stools will take place of chairs, and the organizing boxes will be placed outside our classroom for our students to place their backpacks since we had to remove their coat hangers from inside the room to make space for a center rotation. Additionally, we are in desperate need of sensory toys as well as the floor hopscotch to release some needed energy (this will be placed in our special education hallway).
