These math material can help my young students understand the abstract concepts. For example, Number Balance can show young students 2+4=6. The equal sign "=" is abstract for 1st graders. But they can put the scales on Number Balance and experience to SEE "equal" exactly. My students loves Giant Magnetic Place Value Blocks. They love feel how big one hundred is and how small one is. the foam is soft and warm. The thousand big cube is kids' favorite. Big Time Clock is handy to show hours and minutes because the small hand and the big one has different colors. It is also a good demonstration clock when teaching.
