Often times students come to class unprepared, as they are more worried about how they will get to school and making sure they get something to eat than they are about their school supplies. For this reason, I would like to always have pencils on hand so that this is not another struggle for them. My students have a choice in what their classroom looks like and how it is run. Part of that would be giving them the option of creating things or choosing pictures to print to hang up around the room. The color printer will allow this to happen. This will also help the students feel more comfortable in the learning environment that they have a ​part in creating.
