This rug will provide a clean, comfortable, colorful place for my 2nd grade students to sit during our morning meeting, community circles, teacher read aloud, and library reading time. Currently, my students sit on the old carpet in our portable classroom. It would be such a wonderful and appreciated surprise for them to be gifted a new, clean, beautiful rug to sit on during their favorite times throughout our day. Having a rug in our classroom would make our classroom community/restorative circle times more enjoyable and inviting, because it would provide a spot for each child to sit on, making it a place just for them!

About my class
