As I teach from home, the requested items will increase student-engagement, by allowing me to integrate the video conferencing platform to communicate more effectively with them. I will be able to tap into most, if not all, learning styles. For example, for my visual learners, the document camera will allow me to project items such as worksheets and images/pages from books and so on and thus bridge the distance while enhancing the digital version. Like any good teacher I need to master the art of multi-tasking and having a computer headset will go a long way as I navigate through the lessons which usually involves the computer, books, worksheets, and teaching aids.
