The bright green carpet will designate a math corner in our classroom for math centers. The color green is known to stimulate critical thinking and creativity. Each key chain will have a different math problem attached. Each Padlock will have a corresponding answer. The students will have to correctly solve each problem to unlock each padlock. This can be used for rotating centers during math time, or during morning STEM time. Students who enjoy competition can race and compete to unlock a certain amount of padlocks, or participate in a relay race. This could be an exciting game for math reviews as well.
