The seats are for time outs when they need a break in our "Power Spot" area to help them regroup. I have a lot of kids who struggle during PE and are always looking for a good place to cool down. I teach PE to some pretty tiny little ones for all 6 grades, and a lot of them struggle with making baskets and then feel defeated, so, I'm hoping the basketball hoop will help them feel more accomplished and like they can "take on the world"! I love my students and I just want to see them feel proud.
