We will be talking about the life cycle or different animals and metamorphosis soon during the science segment of our class. The students love insects and animals and they light up at the thought of anything outdoors. This will bring something live and different to our classroom that they haven't been able to experience before. This is a project that allows the students to observe the realistic process for a caterpillar to become a butterfly. The students will be able to observe the process that it takes for caterpillars to become butterflies from inside of our classroom. I think this will bring positive energy and excitement to our students and will be a useful resource to engrain in their minds of what metamorphosis looks like in real life. The poster will be useful to hang on our science bulletin board that matches each topic that we cover.
