We began learning about natural disasters in class, and one of my students asked, "Wouldn't it be cool if we could all do a research paper or presentation?" My heart went out to my students because I just did not have the resources to do this with. I thought if I only had a few iPads (easy to use by all my kids), I could even let them work in partners/groups to research more information of topics we discuss in class. This group of students love science, and there are so many applications and resources I wish to show them, but not having tablets/computers directly in my classroom really places a struggle on how impact-filled my instruction is.

About my class
