Reading is relaxation and comfort, but it's hard to be comfortable in wooden chairs and desks. I want to give my students a great place to relax and learn to love the pleasure, relaxation and comfort of reading again, just like they did in elementary school. By high school, they are starting to feel stressed. I think a cozy reading corner would show them how reading can help them unwind and relieve stress. We chose bean bag chairs, saucer chairs and cozy rugs to create a few relaxing areas in the room that we can spread out and relax while we read and brainstorm writing.

About my class
