These materials will greatly help my students with their learning in physical education. We do not have a gym, so we utilize outside space and a basement for our classes. The class sizes are large, so we need additional equipment so all of our students are active and learning instead of spending too much time waiting their turn using the equipment. I notice too many students spending idle time during activity because they have to wait. This starts to affect behaviors because the students are starting to get anxious for activities. A positive learning environment makes for great success among students. We will use the basketballs for our basketball unit, hurdles for track and field, cones for boundaries and markers, parachutes for the kindergarten-2nd grade group, tape and taper layer for clean floor lines and boundaries, and dodge balls for soft balls to use for catching and throwing.
