Flexible seating allows students to take ownership of their learning and make choices that work best for them. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. The products that I have selected with the help of my Deaf Ed team will help my students by giving them more seating options to make reading a more comfortable experience even though typically reading is very uncomfortable for them. We currently have one bean bag chair and I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
