As an integrated class, we have many students with a variety of sensory needs. These bouncy bands will help our fidgety students get their wiggles out right from their seats! We are all about personal white boards for quick check-ins with our students during math workshop! However, our students with visual processing disorders strongly benefit from using graph paper to help line up their digits by place value. These personal white boards with graph lines will allow ALL of our students to participate and feel successful during mini-lessons! Our current classroom library and personal student supplies are stored in cardboard magazine holders. They've served us well for the first half of the year as our students are incredibly responsible and respectful of our classroom, but I think they deserve something a little more permanent! Our students are in charge of cleaning and organizing our classroom at the end of each day, and I know they would be over the moon if gifted some more durable storage solutions.
