A new iPad will give our classroom one more piece of technology as we work towards every child having a source to blog, read, write and understand math. We use the technology to assess and build strategies to support students. Students use technology multiple times a day in First grade as they communicate their learning abilities and desires through stations and moments of quiet reflection. They are enjoying the classroom blog that we set up for friends and family to write to us. Students also can see a daily blog from me that includes videos and daily messages for inspiration. Having enough modes of technology for each student is a personal goal of mine. I have purchased four iPads with my personal funds to get students motivated in reading and math. I need help to buy an additional iPad?
