We need headsets for our tablets. The students in my class are on their tablets in the program "i-ready" 30 minutes a day. The students are not distracted by other student tablets when they have their own headsets to silence outside noise. The use of tablets is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in reading and math. Our school has adopted the "i-ready" program for reading and math. As teachers, we are asked to have the students learn and be tested in reading and math 30 minutes total every day. All the minutes and all the lessons that my students are engaged in is recorded on a daily bases. I evaluate how my students are doing on their lessons and then take the data to focus me on what I can do to help them better learn a concept. What becomes a problem is the fact that headphones seem to break after many months of use.
