Learning an instrument gives students a definitive achievement of goals. Students gain self-confidence, pride, and ownership of their instrument. These skills carry over from a student’s musical education to other facets of their life. Students learn how to be confident in front of a crowd. They practice how to handle themselves on stage and how to push through a performance even when things don’t go as planned. These skills provide students with confidence for other moments in their academic and social lives. Please Support our Band and students by providing musical instruments to students and a PA system for our Digital Band.
