By having an Aerogarden in the classroom my students will be able to observe and study the life cycle of a plant. In our harsh winter climate we struggle to plant early enough for students to watch and learn about our agricultural economy during a school session. This garden will provide an opportunity for students to have live plants in the classroom during the late winter months. We will plant the seeds together and each day watch the roots grow, and wait patiently while tomatoes bloom. Students will be able to learn how to keep plants health with pruning. The best part is that in the end they will be able to eat the fruits of their labors.

About my class
