These items are materials my students can use to help develop their hand-eye coordination, their fine motor skills, and their pre-academic skills. The more they play and investigate, the more they learn! Some examples of how these items can be used: the stringing beads can help a child develop hand-eye coordination necessary for writing; the droppers can be used to engage in science discovery activities involving quantities, properties of liquids, and colors; the sand-paper and letter pieces can help children master alphabet knowledge, a precursor to reading success; and the bear sorting can help with developing color knowledge, sorting skills, and practicing completing patterns-necessary for math success.
