My students are typical fifth-graders who are beginning to see and find their place in the world. When engaged in learning, you can hear the excitement in their voices and see the thirst for knowledge in their eyes. In November, we received an iPad and since then they have used it to categorize, catalog (via pictures), and gather data about native plants, created an e-newsletter for the school, and filmed videos on social issues.

About my class
