The technology in our classroom is limited to two student computers that are very slow. By adding a few tablets, we will be able to use the different programs that the school district has available for the students. The programs help develop readers, encourage scientist and investigation, as well as to challenge mathematicians. In a technology-driven society, it is imperative to teach students how to be responsible consumers of apps, programs, and all other platforms available. The addition of these tablets will help the students to be able to have access to technology at their fingertips, rather than having to wait for an available computer, or wait to go to our once a week assigned computer hour.
