My students need a way to feel like they are part of the learning process. Each student needs their own whiteboard and eraser in order to follow along in a whole group learning session. This helps them feel like they are doing the discovering of new information on their own. This also makes it very easy for me to monitor on a daily basis which students are achieving success for the day. Our old boards are so worn that we have a hard time reading them. New boards would help the students and myself tell what they are writing and what they still need to know.
