I am building a Maker Space in our library for students to express their love for reading through STEM skills in projects that extend the literature stories we are reading together. Students learn through building and creating with their hands and these materials will allow students to create what they visualize while reading - giving them a voice and choice in how they like to learn. These requested materials will allow students to create with their hands what they feel in their hearts from the stories we read together - creating a passion for learning that is not paper and pencil.
