The materials I am requesting will allow my students an opportunity to experience math in a whole new way. Many of us are all familiar with Escape Games. They are all the rage on our cell phones and in big cities. This idea is beginning to enter classrooms all across the country. Using the math we are learning and applying those skills in a new and fun will, hopefully, plant the seeds for a love of math. Students will unlock "clues" they find in the Document Security Bag and Locking Pouch. Secret messages will be written in invisible ink, that can only be read with an LED Flashlight. The My goal is to help my students see that math isn't just something we learn so that we can check the box. It can be fun, engaging, and can help students think outside of the box when solving their own real problems away from school.
