I am wanting my students to use these science kits to conduct experiments they can have fun with while learning the necessary skills I need to teach them. For example, when I am teaching them about how to stay healthy and prevent germs from spreading, they will be more likely to continue to wash their hands and remember information when they make THEIR OWN soap. When I teach about insects, their habitats, and characteristics, it is much more interesting when I'm watching ants create their tunnels. I want to make learning fun. I want to spark students interests in learning!
