Your generous donations will provide students who cannot afford to join expensive local basketball leagues, access to an after-school volunteer basketball clinic. This clinic also focuses on life skills and the power and importance of teamwork. Our student athletes will be participating in a volunteer run, after school basketball program run by teachers with experience in education, counseling and organized sports. Students from less than moderate means can experience organized team ball and learn important life-skills to better help them to be successful in all facets of life. The new basketballs and coaches whistles will give our student-athletes an after-school program that will be beneficial in many areas, not just basketball. Involvement, life-skills instruction and having fun can make a gigantic difference to a child in need! Providing students with a structured, skills aquisition based program which also focuses on dealing with life's challenges can level the playing field and give our students the self-esteem and happiness every child deserves!
