These robotic kits will impact students in grades 7-12. There is curriculum that comes along with V5 hardware called STEM Labs. It will allow students the ability to learn hands-on and be able to diagnosis and troubleshoot any issues they have while working on their robot. The curriculum will allow teachers the ability to makes changes to relate to directly to the classroom environment at the school. VEX Coding Studio software that comes with these kits will allow students coding skills to evolve with practice. With the need for additional robots in our society, students will learn life long skills that can propel them into the workplace. The main point I like to stress in my classes is: how will it apply to a career some day? Technology is ever-changing and as a teacher I need to stay up-to-date with new technology.
