The materials that I am requesting will benefit the students in my class who are in need of additional sensory experiences in their learning. The little chairs in kindergarten may be cute, but they are not always the best fit for every student. The flexible seating cushions that I have selected will allow me to give students with sensory needs an option for seating that meets their needs. Tactile learning experiences can benefit all kindergarteners, which is why I have selected two learning activities that involve touch. This activity would help my students grow in the area of mathematics. Finally, not every student comes to kindergarten able to hold a pencil correctly. Writing claws and a gumball game will allow me to assist them with learning correct pencil grip.
