Part of our school day is a mandatory outside time, even if the weather is freezing! Most of our families have difficulty purchasing warm clothes for their children. It breaks my heart to see students shivering on the playground. Being warm will allow my students to simply play and be kids instead of thinking about how cold they are. Providing snow pants, mittens and hats for each student in my class will take that burden off of their families' shoulders, and it will also help keep my young students warm. As the days continue to get colder, please have a warm heart and help my students warm theirs.
