On Decision Day, April 26, 2019, my students will be committing to the college of their choice after working hard all of their senior year. As their College Counselor, I have the privilege to see them apply to College and reach for the sky. Most of my students are first-generation students who have often believed that college was out of the realm of possibility; however, they have defeated the odds and will be attending College. Most of them this is their first time they will be away from home, the first time anyone in their family will be going to College which is exciting, yet frightening. Help me give students the basic necessities such as a graphing calculator, school supplies, and dorm necessities for them to be successful in college.
