WHat is a weed? A Plant whose virtues have never been discovered! Bringing the outside world into the classroom by allowing students to create a garden, applies and deepens their learning. To honor Earth Day students will design and plant a garden learning about pollinators, soil types, photosynthesis, and the cycles of the earth. We will use the garden boxes to plant all different types of plants including herbs, vegetables, and plants that will lure different pollinators into our garden. My students love to be outside and enjoy nature. We go on nature walks, look at food chains, and grow caterpillars into butterflies in my classroom. I want to engage my students in learning while exploring the garden. Please help us reach our goal to make this happen for our school!
