Technology in the classroom is a necessity and is also an engaging tool that students use to help discover new ways of learning. Being able to work with iPads will allow students to have endless opportunities to learn. Having technology in the classroom will also help prepare students for future experiences. The iPads will be used to enhance literacy centers in our classroom everyday. Students will be able to further their education using a program called iRead. iRead’s technology adjusts instruction to meet the children's needs. The program provides instruction and guided practice to build mastery in reading. Students will also be able to use these iPads during math centers to reinforce skills and concepts that they are learning. Students will be able to feel successful while building confidence needed for academic achievement.
