Students are all unique and have different ways of learning in the classroom. Studies have shown that alternative seating engages students more, keeps them motivated, and allows them the movement needed to focus during class. Many students I work with love to move and I would like to provide them with flexible seating options while they learn. They are continuously working so hard and they need a way to channel their energy while they learn. Flexible seating will provide students opportunities to move as they are working hard. This will help them stay engaged while becoming better readers and writers.
