The C.&.K.E. Club (Cooking and Kindness Engineers) requires an initial start up investment for materials and equipment as well as food supplies. Receiving these equipments and materials would allow the club to commence therefore providing students a unique opportunity to learn cooking techniques while practicing real world Mathematics and Science concepts. In addition, they could begin designing cooking projects that demonstrate kindness and community involvement. Students feel excited about participating in the club, which was designed based on their interest. Procuring these items would enable student participation without charging them any fees as well as begin club meetings without delays due to funding. We are confident that through participation in the C&KE Club, students will feel empowered and motivated to come to school, display kindness towards each other and build community relationships. Furthermore, these positive interactions will have a great impact on our students’ academic achievement.
