These products selected will be used throughout this year and next to prevent the spread of germs in my classroom. I have already spent a lot of money setting up the classroom and providing barriers to sit between the students as a preventative measure. However, we can do more than this. Did you know that fresh air supports the brain in learning and recalling more information? My classroom does not have windows that open and the AC simply recycles air from all over the building, so I am unable to provide fresh air in my classroom. An air purifier will help collect any allergens and germs, such as COVID-19, in the air, all while supporting students' learning brains! The automatic soap dispensers can be used for soap or hand sanitizer, meaning students do not have to touch potentially germ-ridden surfaces in the classroom, which prevents the spread of germs on our surfaces. They can also be used to support learning of hand washing techniques and what the appropriate amount of soap or hand sanitizer looks like in the student's hands.
