My students are part of a generation that may not have a greater life span than their parents for the first time. Electronics play such a huge part in their world, and that often leaves them sitting in front of a screen for hours. My job is to teach them how great it feels to be active, motivate them to keep it up and train them in a full gamut of possibilities. Push ups, curl ups, stretching warm muscles and just playing games knowing they'll have a soft landing takes special equipment. The GoFit Aerobic Mats will provide the foundation they need to perfect their skills and strengthen their young bodies. When we start teaching them young, in this case from 5 through 12 years old, many students will want to continue to play sports and stay fit as they move on up through the grade levels. They'll have a more positive experience with our sports and games and fitness activities if they know they're protected from the hard floors of an elementary school gym.
