The materials I picked are ones that we seem to never have enough of. Those materials that slow us down when we're trying to get assignments done or lessons learned when there isn't enough to go around. Every one of these materials will be used on a routine basis. Not one item on my list will be wasted or bought and never used again. These are item my students will see each and every day to use in the pursuit of their own education. Aprons are used in our nutrition labs where they obtain hands-on skills in preparing good food and meals that will stay with them for the rest of their life. Clean kitchens are the first step in creating good food and it's hard to clean when we always seem to be out of supplies when we most need them. The art supplies are for the numerous projects I task them with as part of my teaching style. As it stands most of the markers I have are dried out and the colored pencils seem to be getting shorter and shorter. I want to play more educational games with my students as well, as they LOVE a good competition.
