Kids love to learn through playing! Pete the Cat and Astronauts are two of my student's favorite subjects. These games have great reviews and should help with small motor skills and communication skills in addition to learning addition and subtraction. I will use these math games during center time when we break into small groups. The treasure chests will hold treasure that can be stolen by pirates as they learn about subtraction. The little tongs are to help some of the kids with small motor kids in a way that is fun and different from using scissors and crayons. I will have the kids move small blocks and marbles with them as they sort objects. The "floam" will be used to make numbers and letters as an additional way to engrain the formation into their brains.
