SDADI Adjustable Height Standing Desk with Swinging Footrest will be used in my 4th grade classroom to provide the students flexible seating for learning. These movable desks can be used around the room for a variety of projects and assignments. Standing, swinging your foot and collaborating with peers, while working on a project will give my energetic students the opportunity to learn and move at the same time. For some students it is a daily struggle to sit at a desk all day. They need to burn of their energy through movement. These desks will be perfect for them and the rest of the students. It will provide them with a different learning station that is not limited to the "standard" student desks that we all know and hate. Standing can improve the health of the students. It will increase their moods and energy levels, reduces back aches, and keeps students more focused on the task at hand. 4th graders have a hard time sitting still, with these desks, they don't have to!
