My students love to sit on the floor and around the room to collaborate and focus their minds while writing and reading. The availability of lower seats and tables will allow them more access to the places they learn best while allowing them to complete their work on a steady surface. With such active students in the classroom flexible seating options are crucial to allow them to work effectively. Floor seating and wobble cushions keeps their bodies more active than traditional desks while allowing their minds to focus even more leading to better outcomes in their writing and reading skills. Wobble cushions especially help our active bodied students and fidgeting students focus during silent reading time or longer writing periods.
