I am working with an amazing group of students. Despite life's many challenges and being Learning disabled, these students are motivated to graduate and pursue futures out in the world, that is scary to adults. In our state, the job market is hurting and the economy even more. And yet my students have accepted the challenge to become something in life and hope to accomplish many things like nursing, teaching, futures in technology and even changing the world. My students attend a public school effected by the many budget cuts of the state. I have heard that students in ceramics have no clay to build projects. They are working hard at passing the High School Exit exam and meeting graduation requirements each day. My students enjoy school and are very active in extra curricular activities and even jobs after school. They are hard working, and motivating students.
