Having Sphero Bolt robots available in our Discovery Landing Learning Commons will provide coding opportunities for all Eagles! Being housed in our Learning Commons (Discovery Landing), robots will be available for checkout for all students, grades 6-8, along with guided coding challenges and activities. During these uncertain times, providing normalcy for our students is necessary. Although activities will be designed according to safety recommendations from the state, students will be able to participate in hands-on learning opportunities both in school, as well as, at home. Coding/programming activities offer students the opportunity to step outside of the traditional classroom setting, while learning skills that may spark interest in future careers where coding/programming skills are necessary. Help us bring these new learning opportunities to our school!
