The materials will provide myself and my students more flexibility in the classroom. When a teacher is restricted to one corner of the room for all their teaching materials, it limits the students’ engagement with the teacher. The Chromecast will allow me to move freely around the classroom. Using my teacher tablet, I can cast material onto the board no matter where I am in the classroom. The Voice Amplifier will allow me to be heard through my mask. The webcam will allow me to record digital lessons for my virtual students. These supplies will encourage student participation by bringing me into their learning space while the lesson is being projected without any wires attached to the computer! I can use a stylus to take notes actively with the students, too!
