My school has many classrooms that are fortunate to have one-to-one devices, such as laptops and iPads. Unfortunately, my district has discontinued funding for devices for classrooms. My classroom has five student desktops and a few laptops which were donated to our class. With one-to-one devices (laptops), my students will be able to collaborate on projects together using my Google Classroom, access educational websites to enhance what I am teaching and conduct important research for projects. All of our textbooks have an online component which are excellent resources but difficult to use during lessons when students must wait for their turn to access them on a device. I am requesting four laptops for use in my classroom.
