The education system is focusing more on STEAM which is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. STEAM learning applies meaningful maths, science, and technology content to solve real-world problems through hands-on learning activities and creative design. The sensory table and sensory items I have requested will educate students through hands-on learning. The items I have selected will be very beneficial in meeting my students STEAM goals. All of the items I am providing will add enrichment, encourage and promote learning for the students varied learning styles throughout the year while also providing structure and organization.
