In my classroom, we are always working together to build each other up and to learn from our classmates. My students know that each person in the classroom has something to offer and we work hard to share in our learning as a team. An easel that is easy to move to wherever our learning is taking place and can store any supplies needed for our lessons will greatly help facilitate the collaboration that we value so much. With this easel, we will be able to participate in shared writing, a strategy that encourages students to take ownership of a writing lesson and engage on a deeper level. This tool will also create a more organized and accessible carpet space, so that we can focus on learning and not locating materials.

About my class
