Every day we are using whiteboards to help me assess each individual student's needs. I love whiteboards, but the mess! Arghhhh. Not only that, but I have purchased at least 50 expo markers because they are constantly drying out. That has been quite the chunk of change. By replacing our whiteboards with LCD drawing tablets, we will be able to keep the value of easily accessing student thinking, while removing the constant cost of markers. The donations for this project will go directly to helping improve understanding and competence in mathematic skills that will impact the rest of my student's lives. We will have a charging rotation and a tutorial on use to ensure that these LCD writing tablets can help the learning of students for years to come.
