Our students come from various backgrounds. Many are hard working families with low income jobs. Our students are accustomed to taking on more responsibility than the average child. Many students make dinner, and help care for younger siblings to support their families. Our families are of multiple origins including African American, Caucasian, and Latino. Many of our students are capable and talented but lack resources due to low income families. Through the pantry, students will gain a sense of responsibilty, learn choice making, and become aware of prices. These skills are long life lessons that can be practiced here. Be a part of this wonderful opportunity to help prepare our students for the future.
