My scholars need books that will interest them and inspire them. Many of the boys in my class love sports and look up to leaders in the sports community like LeBron James and Steph Curry. Their biographies and stories will inspire my students not only to read, but also to work hard, never give up, and aim high. The scholars at my school deserve a rigorous education, and attaining chapter books that will interest them will bring both enjoyment and challenge to our literacy class. Giving books to my classroom will not just give books, it will give students the opportunity to enhance their love of reading. This will carry them through school and on to greater success.
