I will have more resources to help my students succeed by purchasing books to use in teaching and book studies. I have chosen book sets such as "Middle School Box Set" and "Poetry: Haiku", along with "Myths, Fables and Fairy Tales Play Sets" I have included reading and grammar to ensure my students are ready for 7th grade and beyond. I also am planning a cozy and comfortable reading nook for my students. I have purchased books and bean bag chairs( Calming colors Bean Seats and books such as "Hansel and Gretel" and "Tom Sawyer") to reward good behavior. I want them to feel safe and at home. They will be given the chance to relax after working hard and be rewarded with free reading time.
