We love playing with our light table but sometimes just playing with magnet blocks gets a little boring on it. We want to promote a love of different sensory experiences. Sensory play help shape children's brains by creating stronger connections to process and respond to information. We want to provide our children with different sensory experiences with different types of materials for them to touch, mold and play with. We will be providing these materials for our children to play with everyday in our sensory table and on our light table! And these will go with our different lesson plans and themes we do throughout the years (Farm Animals, Community Helpers, Dinosaurs, Transportation and more). Most children are not allowed to or do not have the resources of different sensory materials at home so we want to be able to provide that for them at school.
